Drop-off & Pick-up

To ensure the safety of all children, please follow these procedures:

  • Drive slowly through the neighborhood and parking area
  • Carpooling is encouraged to reduce traffic congestion
  • We use a drive-through method for safe drop-off and pick-up
  • Children should exit the car on the passenger side directly onto the sidewalk
  • No lingering or phone use while in the drop-off zone
  • No playing in the parking area for safety reasons
  • Early or late arrivals must be escorted inside by an adult
  • Disabled parking is available only with a valid permit

Backpacks & Folders

Help your child stay organized with these guidelines:

  • Provide a regular size backpack with your child's name clearly marked
  • The class folder should be checked and emptied daily by parents
  • Please ensure your child brings their folder to class each day

Our homework policy is designed to be fun and stress-free:

  • After completing 5 pages, your child earns a trip to the prize box
  • Homework is optional but encouraged to reinforce classroom learning

Show and Tell

Show and Tell days are scheduled by age group:

  • 3-Year-Olds: Show and Tell is on Thursdays
  • 4-Year-Olds: Show and Tell is on Fridays
  • Kindergarten: Show and Tell is on Fridays
  • Check the monthly calendar for themes that match each week's learning unit

Health Policy

To protect all children in our care, please follow these health guidelines:

Please keep your child home if they have:

  • Fever
  • Rash
  • Sore throat
  • Inflamed eyes
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Severe cough
  • No medication will be dispensed at school
  • Please report communicable diseases immediately to the school
  • All children must be fully potty trained before enrollment

Dress Code

Help your child be ready for a fun, messy day of learning:

  • Dress your child for messy activities including painting, gluing, and floor play
  • While all art supplies are washable, clothes may still get dirty

Tip: Save the fancy outfits for special occasions. Play clothes are best for preschool!

Discipline Policy

Our approach to discipline is gentle, respectful, and age-appropriate:

  • All children are treated with respect and dignity
  • We never use physical or emotional punishment
  • First approach: Redirect the child to appropriate behavior
  • If needed: Brief sit time with a teacher to discuss the situation
  • Parents will be notified of any ongoing behavioral concerns
